So, I wasn't kidding about that forgetting to post thing. I read so many interesting blogs and the people post almost daily and I have to say I don't know how they do it. I am just not organized enough!
I have been working on dolls but not of the human variety. I have started putting some things in a new shop so my focus has been on things of this nature:
my first attempt with oils...hmmm, a lot of practice ahead!
My cutting table is very messy, as you can see in the background:
Those are not attacking dinos. My mother bought my youngest son the dino wall decals for Christmas. I thought they would look great in his room. He thought they would look great on the slider. Oh well. They get a lot of comments!
I have a lot of WIP:
My husband finds these piles disturbing so I had better get to work!

I find it a 'good thing' that you're so busy creating that you don't have time to blog all the time! good on you. ;-) Looks like a pile o' creativity you've got going on here. Have fun! Thanks for stoppin' by my blog, too.

oooohhhh... tell me about the dolly in your header. Love that face. I'm hoping to make a waldorf-style doll in the very near future for my grandson.

I hope you'll find time to post often---this looks like a blog I would love. I've bookmarked you and I'll be back! Your rabbit is charming. I'm guessing you paint the fabric?

Hi! Thanks for the comment on my blog. I've heard of dolls like the one you described, but I never heard of Edith Flack Ackley doing any of them. But, you never know! I belong to a great Yahoo group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VintageClothdollmaking/) that is full of super smart dollmakers. I have not been very active with them lately, but I highly recommend that you join them. They really are experts. And very nice too! I hope you will post more often- I love what you have here so far!

I love that pile! Not disturbing at all (said I - as a big fan of Dexter).
