You would think that being an aspiring writer I would know what to put here...but what can you say about yourself? Too much or too little I always find.
I am currently a stay-at-home mom of three wonderful children ages 11, 8, and 2. I am in the midst of my second marriage and I am still great friends with the ex-husband from the first (he is the father of the older two).
I work four days a month at a hair salon. I used to be a paralegal.
I have been crafting since I was little. My mom was a great crafty lady and she taught me early on. I love folk art. I could hang out all day at an art gallery. But I find that the most interesting art isn't always found there.
My other hobby is writing. I wrote a lot in High School and College but I am just getting back into it now after a long lag. I have won several awards for poetry and have published some short stories...but, as usual, I am finding on my journey through life that just because you are good at something doesn't always make it the thing for you. So, I am trying my hand at children's book writing right now.
That is me, in a very small nutshell (pistachio, I would say.) My friends seem to think that to know me is to love me and there is no better compliment than that!
